Something Apple doesn’t know that your Ipad can do

A few weeks ago I went to Ozzie for the weekend. It was bed time and I unplugged the lamp to plug in the phone charger. I flicked my Ipad onto Kindle and opened a nice white book page to see by. Then I hopped into bed.

As I picked up the Ipad I saw a mozzie was batting itself against the screen. Excellent – digital extermination deployed. I listened – at least one more in the room. I waited – my next victim arrived. I listened – peace.

Apple – you are missing a whole marketing opportunity here. The Ipad lets you read or play games as you rid the world of mozzies!

Who needs an Ipad?

Phone rings.

It is the 76 year old lady I introduced to an Ipad a few weeks ago. I am often her remote IT advice person so I prepare myself for her question:

I am thinking of getting an Ipad!

Hmmm, I say. What do you want to do on it?

Well, I want to check my email in bed. And look at my pictures. That sort of thing.

Me: Hmmm maybe you’d like a laptop – that’s more like what you already have and its easier to deal with files and things.

Her: Yeeeees. But will I be able to play Plants vs Zombies???
